Refrigeration and cryogenics

In refrigeration engineering, condensation is a problem on surfaces with temperatures below the ambient temperature. Condensation reduces the service life of both the piping itself and the surfaces in its immediate vicinity. In addition, condensation leads to fungi and mould forming, which is bad for people’s health.

In the thermal insulation structures used in refrigeration equipment, thermal insulation should be used that, on the one hand, prevents heat exchange and, at the same time, moisture exchange

RU-FLEX thermal insulation has a low vapour permeability coefficient, low thermal conductivity coefficient and high elasticity at low temperatures.

Use of RU-FLEX thermal insulation allows heat losses to be reduced and condensate and frost formation to be avoided. Ultimately, RU-FLEX thermal insulation reduces maintenance costs of refrigeration equipment, as well as depreciation costs.
